Listening to Gyumri
Inspired by Gyumri history, its attitude and highlights we create a journey through
the city. Starting from the period after the earthquake and crossing the door to
contemporary era. Reaching the city constructions for new generations, how they
live and relate to each other.

Ոգեշնչված է լինելով Գյումրու պատմությամբ,վերաբերմունքով եւ
կարեւորությամբ, մենք որոշեցինք ճանապարհորդություն սկսել Գյումրի
քաղաքում:
Սկսեցինքայներկրաշարժիցհետոեւհատեցիքժամանակակիցդարաշրջանը:
Հասանք քաղաքաշինական կառույցների,որոնք նոր սերունդերի համար են,
ինչպես նաեւ ուսումնասիրեցիք,թե ինչպես են նրանք ապրում եւ կապված են
միմյանցհետ:

Escuchando a Gyumri
Inspiradxs por la historia de Gyumri, su actitud y peculiaridades, creamos un
recorrido por la ciudad. Empezando en la época después del terremoto y cruzando
la puerta a la era contemporánea. Alcanzando la construcción de las nuevas
generaciones, cómo viven y se relacionan.

During March/April of 2018 I developed a sound workshop in Tumo (Center for Creative Technologies) located in the cultural city of Armenia, Gyumri.

The idea was to tell through sound and take this as a universal language, letting people that don't speak Armenian travel the sounds,  go around the landscapes, know the history and internally create their own images. 

Because "the sound of the rain needs no translation".
